GENERAL INFO
Adult Actors are participating as volunteers. This is not a paid position.
Actors in K-12th grade are participating as part of Showtime Academy’s year-round training program. Tuition fees and production fees apply. Production fee of $149 is due by May 15th.
Tech Week is blackout week (everyone must attend all rehearsals.) Tech week runs June 14-19.
Performances run June 20-22 and 27-29.

We will communicate the majority of our information via the Group Me App, with longer information sent out in emails. Please make sure to have actors and guardians join the app using this link:

ACCESS THE SCRIPT and More in Production Pro
You will receive an email invitation to join Production Pro. This is an app that holds the script, score and more. We will not have hard-copy scripts on hand for a few months, so the digital version is your best option in the meantime. If you have not received an e-mail invitation to production pro, text Jen at 704-488-6703.
ACCESS the BACKING TRACKS
Rehearsal Track Access Instructions-----
IPAD-MAC-IPHONE---
The MTI Player Application from the Apple Store:
1. Download the MTI Player Application from the App Store
2. Open the application and enter the Rehearsal Track Code NEW2972937 in the password line, leaving the username blank. Click Login.
3. Tap on "Shows" and then your show’s title to download and then play the rehearsal music on your
device.
4. Once the tracks are downloaded, you will no longer need a WIFI connection to play the tracks. We recommend putting your device in airplane mode while in rehearsals to limit interference.
ANDROID---
The MTI Player from Google Play (Rehearsal Tracks Only):
1. Download the MTI Player Application from the Google Play Store
2. Open the app and enter the rehearsal code NEW2972937 in the Rehearsal Code box. Click Login.
3. Click on "Downloads" to download the rehearsal music to your device.
4. Once all tracks are downloaded, return to the main menu and tap “Shows” and then your show’s title to
play the tracks.
5. Once the tracks are downloaded, you will no longer need a WIFI connection to play the tracks. We
recommend putting your device in airplane mode while in rehearsals to limit interference.
Note: The Android Application is only available for Rehearsal Tracks.
COMPUTER-
The MTI Player Streaming (Rehearsal Tracks Only):
1. In any web browser, navigate to player.mtishows.com/rehearsal
2. In the box labeled "Streaming Access" enter the rehearsal code in the rehearsal code box and click
“Stream Tracks”
Note: You will need a strong internet connection to stream the music from the website. Streaming is only
available for Rehearsal Tracks.
FOR THOSE IN LEGALLY BLONDE TOO- Do this…
To access multiple shows in the MTI Player app, log out of the app first. Don't log in with a rehearsal code, or you'll only get access to the show linked with that rehearsal code.
Create a personal/new account on the app. Please be sure to write down the username/password you create for your app login. Once logged in on the app, go over to the internet to player.mtishows.com/rehearsal. In the App Access section, type the personal username you created for logging in on the app, and then type in the rehearsal code for Newsies (NEW2972937). Click Add Code. Refresh this webpage, type your personal username in again, and then type in the rehearsal code for Legally Blonde (LEG2972918). Click Add Code. Once you've done this, go back into the app on your device, go into the Show section of the app, and press the refresh icon near the top. Both of your shows will appear, ready to download.

June 2nd-13th- Minimum is full cast Mondays 7-9 and Fridays 6-9. Additional rehearsals may be added as needed.
THINGS TO BRING
Reminder to have flesh tone or light colored undergarments for modest changes in an open/shared dressing room space.
Adults, feel free to bring a folding chair for the dressing room.
Bring a bin with your name on it to keep your items in.
Suggested items in your bin- makeup and hair kits, deodorant, extra undergarments, socks, tights etc. Shoes for the show with your name on them. Bottle of water that doesn’t spill. Clean snacks.
Actors in long pants will need black socks that come to your mid-calf or knee.
Actors in knickers will need socks that can scrunch, in tan, grey or brown.
Adult women will want dance tights. (Let’s chat and decide which color :) )
Newsies/Newsies Dancers/ youth vocal ensemble will need black jazz shoes or jazz boots, or black rubber soles dress shoes or boots. Those in King of NY will need black tap shoes. these actors do not need tights. hair will be tied back in pig tails, puny tails, braids or under their hats.
Adult men should have rubber soled dress shoes or boots depending on character.
Adult women can wear character heels, or pumps, or jazz shoes. Let’s chat to determine color etc.
Adult women, your characters will need up-do’s. Wigs are optional and can be purchased on Amazon and other places. We may have some in stock you can update as well if you like. Let me know.
